City AdministratorBruce Leonard, City AdministratorBeing a native of the area, I have a vested interest in Brigham City's future and success. Upon graduating from Box Elder High School I attended local universities and began my career with Brigham City Corporation in 1981 as an Engineering Technician. In 1983 I was promoted to Director of Public Works and served in that capacity for 23 years. In January of this year I accepted the position of City Administrator through an organizatinal restructuring process. Although the position of City Administrator previously existed, the newly restructured organization changed the assignments and management responsibilities of this position. I now have direct management and coordination over 8 City departments. My 23 years as a public servant and leader will greatly enhance my ability to create synergy within the affected departments. One of my goals is to coordinate the resources of our highly skilled work force to accomplish maintenance and capital projects that are often constrained by lack of funding. Our City employees have great work ethics and a lot of home town pride. One of my goals is to foster and elevate their standard of performance and encourage excellence in customer service. I hope you will join with me and our elected officials in support of our Mission which states: "To enhance the quality of life by providing municipal services, protecting life and property with fiscal responsibility, while preserving our heritage for the citizens of Brigham City."
