Garden Border Art, March 11, 2008, 1-4, $5/project

Get a jumpstart on Spring flower bed borders. Dixie will be teaching the class. You will be painting frogs and elephants on flowerbed edgings. An easy project to do. Class limited to 10 students. Contact Sarah to sign up. Samples in craft room.


 Art & Soup March 20, 2008 $15, Departure 9:30

       Art & Soup has become an annual trip for the seniors. It’s a chance to see the works of Utah artists and taste the delicious soups, breads, and desserts offered by Salt Lake area restaurants. For the artist in you, it can bring inspiration your way as well as seeing what others are doing. Join us for a fun trip.

Wendover March 31, 7:30 a.m.; $17

       Ready to “get out'a Dodge?” Head West to Wendover for a day of people watching or trying your luck at the casinos. You can’t beat the price. There are activities on the way down and back. Even if you don’t have the best of luck, the buffets are great. Sign up early.

 

Upcoming Activities

Legends of Country Music, April 23, 2008; $15; Departure 5:45 p.m.

The Legends of Country Music Concert is held at the Historic Murray Theater. Legends has quickly become Utah’s Premier “LIVE” Music Entertainment. Now people can enjoy a top rated country music production like those in Branson, Nashville, and Vegas. This is a fast paced show that pays a tribute to the legendary entertainers who blazed the trail for country music. Be prepared to be blown away.

Bar J Wranglers May 9, 2008; $25 per; Departure 5:45

Everybody loves the Bar J Wranglers. Join us as we head for Perry’s Egyptian Theater in Ogden. You won’t want to miss this trip.>

Sunset BBQ Special June 7, 2008;  $50 per person; Departure 4:40 p.m.

   Enjoy a relaxing train ride along the shores of Deer Creek Reservoir aboard the Heber Valley Railroad. There is a stop for live Bluegrass music and a delicious BBQ dinner in the beautiful outdoor setting.
