Powers and Duties of the Golf Course Commission.

The Golf Course Commission shall be advisory to the Mayor and City Council concerning the Brigham City Eagle Mountain Golf Course, including but not limited to the following:

1. To support golf course programs and services, advocating and promoting their use throughout Northern Utah.

2. To advise on matters relating to golf course policies, facilities, and programs.

3. To advise on golf course utilization fees, future course plans and improvements.

4. To promote and develop services and programs of interest and value to golfers

5. Assist in creating public understanding and support of the golf course.

6. Recommend physical improvements or additions to the course with supporting recommendations on appropriate funding sources.

7. May create Ad hoc committees to assist the Commission.

8. Shall act in its advisory capacity to represent the needs of the citizens of Brigham City to the Mayor and City Council in matters pertaining to the golf course.

9. Shall respond to requests for advice from the Mayor and/or City Council concerning petitions or proposed actions relating to the golf course.
