Powers and Duties of the Community Emergency Response Team Council.

To promote individual, family, business and community safety and emergency preparedness through public information and education and through the establishment and maintenance of Community Emergency Response Teams trained with the emphasis on responding with the city environment. CERT will encourage and support development of Community Emergency Response Teams through the city, school district and the private sector.
