GRAMA Request Form General Information      Building Inspection Staff The Building Inspection Department is responsible for receiving applications, reviewing construction documents and issuing permits for the erection and alteration, moving of buildings and structures, inspecting the premises for which permits have been issued and enforcing compliance with the provisions of the Building Code within the City. The Inspection Department inspects for the Building, Plumbing, Electrical, Mechanical and Energy Conservation Codes. Inspections must be scheduled 24-hours in advance by calling the Administrative Secretary. Permits must be issued prior to scheduling inspections.
