 Budget Development

The Mayor is responsible for developing a budget for the City.  The Mayor prepares this budget with the assistance of staff.  Budget development begins in October and proceeds through March.  The budget is then presented to the City Council in March.  Once presented the City Council sets worksessions to review and make any final adjustments.  The budget is then presented to the public in June and then approved.
